Russia Is a Nuclear Terrorist State

Putin approved Iran’s aggression against the United States. He is continuing to play the role of ‘chaos architector’ in the region.

The visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi to Moscow on 22 June 2025, prior to the strikes on American bases in Qatar, Iraq and Syria, was not a coincidence, but rather another confirmation of the close military and strategic coordination between the Kremlin and Tehran. According to Reuters and Al Jazeera, rocket attacks were recorded on US facilities in Qatar, including the Al-Udeid base, on the morning of 23 June, immediately after Arakchi’s meeting with Lavrov in Moscow. Once again, it has been proven that offensive actions against the West are supported and coordinated by Moscow, with Tehran being used as a strategic proxy.

The radicalisation of Russian foreign policy was demonstrated by Dmitry Medvedev’s public mention of the possibility of transferring nuclear weapons to Iran. This is no longer just geopolitical rhetoric — it is a direct threat to global security. The White House is aware of the level of threat posed by the new ‘axis of evil’ between Moscow and Tehran, as evidenced by Donald Trump’s sharp response on social media.

An alliance of two autocracies that coordinate their actions to destabilise the international situation is represented by Moscow and Tehran. Iran’s strike on a US base in the Syrian province of Al-Hasakah and the shelling in Qatar have been identified by experts as coordinated operations agreed with the Kremlin. This is not episodic cooperation, but rather a long-term strategy to undermine Western influence.

Russian support for Iran directly challenges the United States and NATO. Moscow immediately condemned the US strike, even though it has been carrying out daily attacks on Ukrainian cities for the third year in a row. The Kremlin’s double standards reveal its hypocritical support for Iran and its deliberate efforts to undermine security.

A new front against the West is being opened by Iran, which is Moscow’s tool. The coordination of shelling in Syria, Iraq and Qatar reportedly took place immediately after the visit to Moscow. This suggests a multi-level scheme, which is a concept that is often associated with complex systems. Moscow is the one who makes the plans, and Iran is the one who carries them out.

The Kremlin is provoking a ‘crisis overload’ in the hope that the West will shift its focus away from Ukraine. The ongoing conflict in the Persian Gulf, the potential for conflict around Taiwan, and the ongoing attacks on Ukraine are all part of a single strategy aimed at diverting attention. But such tactics only confirm that the Russian Federation is a systemic threat that cannot be ignored.

Cooperation between Iran and Russia in the defence sector is no longer just a hypothesis; it is now a reality. This is not just about drones and missiles; it’s also about transferring Russian technology for Iranian medium-range missiles.

The international community must respond systematically, and it must do so in a coordinated manner. Russia’s participation in Iranian military operations is not a matter of diplomacy, but rather a conspiracy against global stability. The Russian Federation cannot remain in the UN Security Council while cooperating with regimes that carry out missile strikes against NATO allies.
